History of the Organization

North American-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, Inc. USA (NABCC USA) was incorporated just recently, on October 19th, 2007. However, the Organization is part of North American-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, which is the parent organization of NABCC, USA. Below is the history of the parent organization.

The idea for the creation of North American-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce was born back in 1998. In September of 1999 the idea became a reality and NABCC was incorporated in Sacramento, California as a Non-for-Profit Corporation. At the beginning, the organization started with one office located in the city of Novato, in the Bay Area of San Francisco. Slowly the organization grew up and expanded its activities, initially in California and at a later stage on the east Coast of the United States, Bulgaria, Mexico and Canada.

Chronology

1999 – NABCC is incorporated in Sacramento, California

2000 – NABCC opens an office in Encinitas, Southern California

2002 – Laying down the foundation of the organization’s structures at the territory of Bulgaria

2003 – NABCC registers branch for the territory of Bulgaria in the city court of Sofia under the name of North American-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, Branch Sofia

2004 – NABCC opens office in Seattle, WA and appoints Mr. Simeon Simeonov as a regional manager

2004 – An agreement is signed with Bulmexa, Asociacion Bulgaro Mexicana for opening a representative office in Mexico City for the territory of Mexico.

2004 – NABCC opens office in the second largest city in Bulgaria, Plovdiv. The office is located at the grounds of the International Fair, Plovdiv at the Pavilion No. 3

2005 – Kaizen Denki, Inc. becomes an official representative of NABCC for the territory of Canada. NABCC opens office in Toronto, Canada.. Mr. Kevin Wright is appointed as regional manager.

2005 – NABCC opens office in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Elena Sabkova is appointed as a regional manager.

2007 – NABCC incorporates its subsidiary in Atlanta, Georgia under the name North American-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, Inc. USA.
